Xerox to Sponsor Jazz Fest

Rochester, NY – A popular local music event is getting a new name and title sponsor.

The eighth edition of the city's jazz festival runs next June, and it will be known as the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival. The company has signed a multi-year agreement as the event's first title sponsor.

The Rochester International Jazz Festival is one of the fastest growing in the nation, with over 125-thousand people attending this past summer's concerts.
Organizers say having the Xerox name associated with the jazz festival will enhance its stature, and heighten the focus on Rochester as a major music destination.

Club Passes for the next summer's festival, by the way, go on sale October 24.
