Xerox says it is moving sales and technical training operations to the Webster campus. The Xerox Technology Learning and Development Center will relocate to the Gil Hatch Center for Customer Innovation.
Those operations are being transferred from Virginia. A Xerox official says the move could mean about a thousand employees and partners annually visiting the facility in Monroe County for training, and that should have a positive economic benefit on hotels, restaurants and local transportation businesses.
Xerox says that groups from its sales, delivery and technical support functions as well as management will be coming to Rochester for training and professional development.
