Xerox Lands $110 Million Contract With The USDA

Xerox has been awarded a $110 million , 10-year contract by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

It is for managed print services across all USDA agencies, including having Xerox install and support up to 16,000 Xerox 'ConnectKey'-enabled printers and multifunction devices around the world.

Development work for the software that powers the ConnectKey system was done in Webster.

USDA is working with Xerox to reduce costs while using fewer but more powerful devices with a smaller environmental footprint.

Xerox will manage all of the equipment with the help of a secure web portal that has been customized for the USDA.
