Xerox Adding 200 Call Center Jobs In Webster

Xerox is adding jobs in Webster.  The company's call center will be holding a job fair next week to help fill around 200 customer service positions.

That's on top of the 600 people who already work at that call center, which opened three years ago. Center Manager Lisa Hanlon says the building does have the space it needs to accommodate the expansion.

“We actually already since we opened just three years ago have expanded our center by 90 feet last year, with the 200 additional jobs we’ll be able to fill those seats and then with space even to expand beyond that if we needed to. “

The call center is primarily focused on providing customer service for what's described as a very large telecommunications company. The name of that business was not released.

Hanson says these are mainly  entry level jobs, but they also include some supervisory positions. The salaries range from $12 per hour to $50,000 annually.

The job fair will be held Wednesday, December 9th at the Radisson Hotel on Main Street in downtown Rochester from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
