The Rochester area had unofficial snowfall totals ranging from 8 to 12 inches in the last 24 hours.
The Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until this evening, but the National Weather Service says most of what will fall is already on the ground. We're expecting another inch or two by tonight.
Areas south of the Thruway had some of the higher amounts. Even though the plows have been out, many of the roads are snow-covered and slippery and it's a slower than normal commute this morning, so you'll want a head start.
Some of the highest storm totals in the state were south of Syracuse toward Cortland where they saw about 20 inches.
