Whole Foods, the supermarket company specializing in natural and organic foods, is coming to Western New York. The Texas-based chain says it is going to open up a store in Buffalo. They hope to open sometime in 2016.
Whole Foods currently operates 14 locations in New York, with most of those in the New York City area, although one in Albany is set to open next month.
A company spokesman tells WXXI News there are no current plans to open a store in Rochester, but he does note that Whole Foods has been in the process of expanding across the state.
