Erie County-based West Herr Automotive Group says it has acquired the assets of Vision Ford on Ridge Road West in Greece.
That location will be renamed West Herr Ford of Rochester, and with the acquisition, West Herr will have three dealerships in the Rochester area with the other two being Mercedes-Benz of Rochester, and BMW of Rochester.
The new Greece dealership now employs 65 and they expect to add 20 more as the business expands. West Herr officials say they will renovate the existing building with the project expected to be completed in early 2016.
The President and Owner of the Vision Automotive Group, Dan Edwards, says Vision will remain a strong presence in Rochester and plans to continue to expand in the area. Vision has nine other dealerships locally.
