Wegmans says its Vice Chairman and Secretary, Paul Speranza Jr. is retiring effective April 1st.
Speranza has been with the company for 40 years. He joined the company as general counsel at the age of 28.
He has been active in a number of industry, civic and professional organizations including serving as chairman of the board of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce from 2007 to 2008.
Speranza says he looks forward to traveling and spending more time with his family.
