Thousands gathered for the funeral for 19-year old Webster firefighter Tomasz Kaczowka this morning at St. Stanislaus Church.
Kaczowka was one of two firefighters killed Christmas Eve in an ambush on Lake Road in Webster. Uniformed firefighters, police, border patrol and others from across New York state, various parts of the country, and Canada are at the funeral mass.
Bagpipes played as West Webster firefighters lifted Kaczowka's coffin from a fire truck. The street in front of the church was lined with firefighters.
