Officials are investigating a water main break that affected some customers in the area of the Midtown Athletic Club off E. Highland Drive early Friday. That is near the border of Rochester and Brighton.
An official with the Monroe County Water Authority says it was caused by a contractor who accidentally hit a water main just after 7:00 a.m.
The problem was isolated quickly and officials expected repairs to be completed Friday morning.
