The State Thruway has re-opened to traffic. It had been closed in both directions from Exit 46 in Henrietta, west to the Pennsylvania line since Tuesday afternoon.
It reopened just after 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
Interstate 81 will remain closed from exit 34 to exit 48 in central New York until conditions there improve.
In Genesee County the travel ban on all but emergency vehicles was lifted early Wed. morning.
