Rochester's Ten Ugly Men say they have retired and will not hold their festival this year.
A message on their website indicates that a new group may keep the ugliness alive beginning next year.
The uglies organized community parties for 25 years, offering a good time, and they say, raising more than a million dollars for local charities.
The post also thanks anyone who supported them over the years.
