Thousands enjoy art, food, music at the Park Ave Fest

www.rochesterevents.com

The 41st edition of the Park Ave Summer Art Fest usually brings thousands of people to that event in Rochester, but as with any festival, attendance is helped or hurt by the weather.

And with a fair amount of sunshine Saturday and more expected on Sunday, along with comfortable temperatures, it should mean another big year in terms of attendance, and vendors hope that will translate into a lot of  business.

The event features more than 350 artists from 22 states and Canada along the  1 ¼  miles of Park Avenue stretching from Alexander Street to Culver Road.

The festival usually attracts more than 250,000 people over the weekend for the artists and crafts people, food and music.

The festival is open Sunday from 10am to 5pm.  There is free shuttle service from GleasonWorks on University Avenue.

Stop by the WXXI booth near Park Ave. and Arnold Park and say 'Hi' !
