With temperatures expected to climb into the mid-90s today, Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo has announced an extra hour of swimming this evening at Ontario Beach Park.
Public swimming will be extended and lifeguards will be on duty until 8 p.m., assuming water quality is favorable. Swimming is only allowed at the beach when lifeguards are on duty.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a high today of 94, with the possibility of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and this evening. Thursday’s high is expected to approach 90, but conditions will be relatively cooler on Friday, when it should reach the mid-80s.
