Rochester Gas & Electricwas dealing with power outage repairs through early Wednesday morning.
Officials tell us at one point, more than 12,000 customers were without electricity due to weather related issues. Chili was one of the harder hit areas, due to wires down in the Union Street-Stottle Road area.
By 8:30, most of the customers in Monroe County were back on line; In Ontario County, just over 1700 customers were still without power due to wires down in Bristol. The utility was hoping to get everyone back by 9am, but said the weather might hamper that effort.
There is a wind advisoryin effect until 1:00 p.m. for counties including Livingston, Ontario and Wyoming
