Spencerport School District Supt. to retire

The Spencerport School District is going to be looking for a new superintendent.

Mike Crumb, who has been with the district since 1998, the last six years as its leader, will retire at the end of June.

Crumb says “now simply feels like the right time,” and he says he’s looking to enjoy the years ahead with family and friends.

Spencerport School Board President Mike Crumb Gary Bracken said that Crumb’s impact on Spenceport has been ‘immeasurable,’ and says he always did ‘what is best for kids.’

The school board will begin to develop a superintendent search process.
