Congresswoman Louise Slaughter says that University of Rochester President Joel Seligman will be her guest in Washington, D.C. next Tuesday for President Obama's State of the Union Address.
Slaughter, a Fairport Democrat, says she has worked with Seligman for a long time on projects for the Rochester area including the recent effort to bring a national photonics lab here.
Slaughter also says she will continue her tradition of bringing together New York's upstate congressional delegation for a bipartisan meeting immediately prior to the president's speech.
