For the third consecutive year the Rochester Institute of Technology has been named one of North America’s Greenest Universities.
Princeton's Guide to 322 Green Colleges evaluates colleges and universities on environmentally related policies, practices and academic offerings.
Last summer, a detailed survey was given to school administrators across the country about their institution’s sustainability and then an official rating of between 60 and 99 was given. The schools listed in the guide received scores of 83 or above. In total, 30 schools in New York made the list including the University of Rochester, Ithaca College and Cornell University.
