Seneca Park Zoo Eyes State Funding Cut

Rochester, NY – WXXI has been looking at the many different ways you might be affected by the deficit-cutting New York State budget, and it's beginning a series of stories about it.

These stories will cover obvious issues like cuts in state aid for school districts. But there are less obvious ones, too, and we hope to shine a light on some of them.

As WXXI's Bud Lowell reports in this audio package, your visit to the Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester might cost more if the budget passes as Governor David Paterson intends. Popular visiting animal attractions may have to be suspended. But at least, it won't happen this year...
