Twenty five school districts in the area are teaming up with the Ad Council in a campaign to end distracted driving.

It's called "Yeah, You're That Distracting," and Ad Council CEO Todd Butler says the campaign focuses on the person making the call or the text, not the driver of the vehicle.

He says if you're talking or texting to someone on the road, hold the conversation until a safer time.

Many school are also taking part in a new effort requiring students to take a Distracted Driving course from Next Step Academy before obtaining at parking pass.

National Transportation Safety Administration statistics show that distracted driving is now the number one cause of death among teens.
