Kodak Alaris and the Central Library offer you help protecting your photos.
It's the second annual "Save Your Photos Day" at the library, from 11 am to 4 pm.
Staff from Kodak Alaris will scan up to 300 photos or memorabilia for free - just bring a CD or flash drive to put them on.
Kodak Alaris says every year, there are more than 550 disasters throughout the world: floods, fires, tornados or other natural disasters. People often lose property, photos and other valuables forever.
‘Save Your Photos Day’ is an international event that encourages collecting, organizing and safeguarding photos, documents, videos and other memorabilia for current enjoyment and future generations.
