RPO Says Latest Season Completed With Solid Revenue Growth

The RPO is reporting record-breaking single ticket sales for its just completed 2014-15 subscription season.

Officials say they saw $1.66 million in single ticket revenue, which was a 19 percent increase over the previous season.

The orchestra saw growth in total earned revenues for the first time in about five years.

RPO President & CEO Charles Owens says that it's "gratifying to note how the Rochester community has responded to our programming initiatives in the past season." He says Rochester audiences can expect more programming innovations in the upcoming season and beyond with newly hired Music Director Ward Stare.

RPO officials say there are already signs of revenue  growth for the upcoming season subscription revenues and packages tracking ahead of the previous season. They say that subscriber renewal rates are the highest since the 2010-11 season.
