The Rochester Police Officer who was injured in a shooting on North Goodman Street last week has been released from the hospital.
On Sunday RPD issued a tweet saying that Sgt. Flamur Zenelovic is back home recovering from gunshot wounds to the upper body.
The shooting took place on Thursday, when officers exchanged gunfire with 31-year old Ralph Strong of the city, a suspect in a double murder.
Strong, and a passerby at the time of the shooting, Gene McDougal, remain hospitalized this morning.
