Rochester police are not releasing too many details yet about a triple homicide on the west side.
Police say they received a call just after 9:30 a.m. after a family member went to 809 Chili Avenue and found what was believed to be a body inside. Once inside, police officers say they found three people dead from gunshot wounds, none of them are children. One is a male, and the other two are females.
Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims and there is no word yet of any suspects.
The scene is directly across the street from Rochester City School 44, but a district spokesman tells WXXI News there was no need for special security precautions there.
