Members of the Rochester chapter of the National Organization for Women will be watching election returns together tonight, and they are confident they will be witnessing history.
"And we are not only going to celebrate the first woman being elected President of the United States, we're going to the legacy of Susan B. Anthony, our most famous resident, who really made it happen," said Barbara Moore, treasurer of the Rochester NOW chapter.
Moore believes if Clinton wins the White House, she will try to bridge the sharp political divide in the country.
"When she was our New York Senator she not only worked very hard, but she worked across the aisle and she reached out to Republicans - and Republicans will say this too. She was very effective; we're very hopeful that she's going to bring the country back together again."
The Rochester NOW chapter is so confident of a Clinton victory, it has already scheduled a rally at noon on Wednesday outside Rochester City Hall.
