A top Rochester City School District Official is leaving for Long Island.
Deputy Superintendent for Administration Adele Bovard is leaving to be a Deputy Superintendent in the Syosset School District.
In a letter sent to staff, interim RCSD Superintendent Linda Cimusz said that Bovard has been integral in linking the functions of central administration to classroom instruction.
Bovard was Supt. of the Webster Central School District before she came to Rochester in 2014.
Her departure comes as the Rochester district is getting ready to name a new superintendent to replace Bolgen Vargas, who left last year.
