Mayor Lovely Warren joined promoters of the third annual ROC the Park Music Festival in announcing this year's lineup.
Warren says new this year is a "Latino Family Night."
"We have a lot of Latin artists that are local as well, and we should give them an opportunity to showcase, and I said absolutely, that's what the ROC the Park series is for," she said.
Warren says the ROC the Park series allows local musicians a chance to display their talents.
Freddie Colon is with the Rochester Hispanic Heritage Committee, which helped organize the inaugural Latino Family Night.
"We need to showcase a lot of this young talent that we have, right here in Rochester, New York," he said.
Latino Family Night is July 23rd.
There's also a night of R&B planned for August 6th, and a Motown and Soul Tribute on Labor Day Weekend.
All concerts start at 6 pm at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park.
