Roberts Wesleyan Names A New President

Roberts Wesleyan College has named a new president. Deana Porterfield has been named to the post that will be left vacant after John Martin retires.

She will take office next July. Porterfield has served at Azusa Pacific University and Azusa Pacific Online University in the Los Angeles area for more than 24 years in various roles including as a vice president.

The chair of the Roberts Wesleyan board of trustees, Terry Taber, called Porterfield a "visionary Christian leader who transforms her ideas into actions and results."

She will replace John Martin who has been president since 2002.
