Rochester, NY – State Senator Joe Robach dismisses talk that he might change his political affilication from Republican to Democrat.
Robach says he's not the one spreading the rumors. He says he wants to focus on doing his job and getting a state budget done for the people of Rochester.
In a special State Senate election earlier this week, Democrats took over a Republican seat on Long Island. That narrowed the Republican edge in the Senate to three seats -- 33 to 29. Two Republican defections would give control of the Senate to the Democrats.
Robach -- who switched from the Democratic to the Republican party in 2002 -- said he will not switch back.
