Rochester Regional Health is announcing a $5 million donation from the Riedman Foundation to support a $26 million new health care center. It will be located at a former Tops location in Irondequoit in the Ridge-Goodman Plaza.

The center will provide primary care, pediatrics, dental, behavioral health and other services.

Officials with the health system say that by moving key outpatient services to the new Riedman Health Center, it will make health care more accessible to patients and also will create additional space for improvements at Rochester General Hospital.

The new center is expected to open in September 2017.
