There are reports that two toddlers died in a house fire Friday night in Batavia.
According to Time Warner Cable News, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department is investigating whether the two boys, age 2, were home alone at the time of the fire.
The fire began on the back side of the house on the first floor and spread up through the second floor.
Reportedly the two boys were found in a back bedroom. The landlord says the boys are twins who lived in the downstairs apartment with their mother.
An investigation is underway as to what caused the fire. The Red Cross says it's helping 2 adults and two children who live in that house.
