Refugee Health Needs, XRIJF Performer Gabe Condon & The Influence of Frederick Olmsted

Doctors, policymakers, and resettlement workers from around the world are in Rochester this week to examine the complexities of healthcare for refugees. On this edition of Need to Know Rochester, we’ll get an inside look at the challenges for those in the medical field and refugees alike.

Also on the show, we meet local guitarist Gabe Condon whose music career began at the age of four. He’s been influenced by artists such as Jimi Hendrix and he’s performing at this year’s Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival.

And summer in Rochester wouldn’t be the same without the father of American landscape architecture, Frederick Law Olmsted, making his mark on our community.
