The Eastman School of Music is working with several partners to get Rochester City School District students and their families inside Kodak Hall.
In collaboration with the school district, RG&E, the Rochester Area Community Foundation, and the Rochester Education Foundation, over 400 tickets will be made available to their ongoing Eastman Presents Concert Series.
Dean Jamal Rossi says these programs provide a great opportunity for these kids.
"I believe we are very fortunate in Rochester to have the foundations, the people, and the companies to make programs like this happen."
The next concert in the series is Underground Railroad: A Spiritual Journey, preformed by Grammy Award-winner Kathleen Battle and Pianist Joel Martin on January 30th. Transportation for RCSD students and families will also be provided.
