PGA Seniors coming back to Oak Hill

Oak Hill Country Club is hosting the 2019 Kitchen-Aid PGA Senior Championship.

Officials made the announcement today at the course in Pittsford.

PGA Chief Championships Officer Kerry Haigh says there's a lot to like at the famed East Course, which has hosted 3 previous PGA championships, and last hosted the Senior PGA Championship in 2008.

"Truly a tough task, a difficult task but one that the players enjoy, and we love coming here because of the support of the community, the club, the volunteers and everyone involved," he said.  "We are really excited to once again play our KitchenAid Senior Championship here on this wonderful, traditional historic golf coure that is Oak Hill."

Oak Hill Country Club President Tim Thaney said  they are honored the PGA has offered Oak Hill the opportunity to showcase its East Course, tremendous clubhouse facilities and the hospitality of the Rochester community.

"It's a tournament we had here successfully in 2008, and it's just really good to have Oak Hill out there in the spotlight, and I think it's great for our community to have a light be shined on it from time to time," he said.

Oak Hill's famed East Course will also host the PGA Championship again in 2023.
