PGA Habitat Home in Rochester

One Rochester couple is building their own dream home, with the help of a few dozen volunteers.

The PGA Wives of America and PGA of America Spouses are helping sponsor and build the new Habitat for Humanity home on Whitney Street for Nelson Galletti and Vanice Rosario of Rochester.

The couple has already put in around 250 hours of sweat equity on other Habit homes, and are working on completing 200 hours on their own house.

Galletti says providing a stable home for his family is one of his life's goals, and both call the building of the home a "dream come true."

A ribbon-cutting is expected next week for the house, at 170 Whitney Street.

Rosario says they expect the home to be completed by the fall.

This is the first so-called "Blitz Build" by Habitat for Humanity in Rochester since 2006.
