Paychex has acquired an HR firm that’s based in North Carolina.
The Rochester company announced on Monday it has purchased HR Outsourcing Holdings, a business that provides human resource solutions to small and medium-sized businesses in more than 35 states.
Paychex CEO Marty Mucci says the acquisition reflects his company’s continued focus on growth, and he says the purchase of the North Carolina company will position them to have an even stronger presence in the industry.
HR Outsourcing has about 140 employees who will be offered the opportunity to become Paychex employees. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
