A busy stretch of Mount Hope Avenue will be closed six weeks starting Tuesday, Sept. 5 to accommodate a Rochester Gas & Electric Company project.
The two-block stretch of road lies between Hickory and Hamilton streets north of the Ford Street Bridge.
The City of Rochester has announced the following changes:
The detour for through-traffic during this closure will be Gregory Street to South Avenue to Alexander Street for northbound traffic; and Alexander Street to South Avenue to Gregory Street for southbound traffic.
