One of Orleans County's largest employers is expanding and adding jobs. Claims Recovery Financial Services is going to be moving its operations into the former JP Morgan Chase complex in Albion. CRFS has hired 55 former Chase employees, and with the move, it expects to add another 150 positions.
When Chase closed a mortgage servicing business in June, it affected more than 400 people. Senator Chuck Schumer says that Chase has hired 110 of the former Albion employees and placed them in new positions at Chase's Rochester location.
New York State is offering an incentive package worth $872,000 to CRFS to help with the move and there are also local incentives provided by Orleans County.
