Online Fundraiser Set Up for Firefighter Families

An online fundraiser has already been set up to help the families of the firefighters involved in Monday's shooting. Webster native Brett Beachner used his web skills to set up the fundraiser using the website Indiegogo.com, the same site used to raise funds for bus monitor Karen Klein. The site has a goal of $10,000, but could surpass that in the 45 days that it will be live; 100 percent of the proceeds will be split between the families.
