It's now known as the Rochester Lilac Festival, and the annual event is just a month away, set for May 10th through the 19th.
Some 12-hundred lilac bushes will be on display in Highland Park -- the world's biggest lilac collection -- along with plenty of music and food.
National bands like the Spin Doctors and Eddie Money, and local musical acts will be featured, along with some new attractions and events.
This is the 115th year for the lilac festival.
