Monroe County Sheriff Patrick O'Flynn has appointed Drew Forsythe as Undersheriff.
Forsythe replaces William Sanborn who served for five years. Sanborn is ending a 25 year career with the Sheriff's Office.
Undersheriff Forsythe was most recently Chief Deputy for the Sheriff's Police Bureau Operations and will help O'Flynn manage the department's 1100 employees.
