Officer Returns to Visit Hospital

Rochester, NY – Today brings a return visit to Rochester General Hospital by Rochester Police officer Anthony DiPonzio.
It's the first time he's returned since he spent quite a bit of time there last year.
A year ago in January, DiPonzio was shot in the head in the line of duty and seriously wounded.
R-G-H staff will share their best wishes and some momentos from his recovery stay.
Surgeon Dr. Paul Mauer, the police chief and Mayor will also take part in the event.
