abcnews.go.com

ABC and Good Morning America news anchor Amy Robach will be in Rochester next week, talking about her breast cancer diagnosis at an event hosted by the Rochester Regional Health's Lipson Cancer Center.

The 42 year old Robach revealed she had breast cancer shortly after receiving a mammogram on a live broadcast of Good Morning America in 2013.

She will share her story at the Lipson Cancer Center Champions of Hope Luncheon & Awards on Wednesday, June 10 at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center.

Several local people will also be awarded a Champion of Hope Award. That award is given to someone battling cancer, a cancer survivor or the caregiver to those affected by cancer.
