The National Weather Service has lifted a winter storm warning for the region, but hazardous conditions remain throughout the region.
The winter storm began Wednesday evening, leaving 9-14 inches of snow in the Rochester and Finger Lakes region. National Weather Service spokesman Dan Kelly told WXXI that another 1-3 inches could fall in the area before midday. The icy roads are causing hazardous conditions Thursday morning. Many school and community activities have been canceled for Thursday. A complete list of cancelations is available at: http://rochester.ynn.com/content/closings/
