EPHRATAH, N.Y. (AP) — Police say they are still searching for one of two passengers aboard an Angel Flight that crashed in upstate New York. They now say the pilot was among the two already found dead.
Sgt. Brian Van Nostrand of the Fulton County Sheriff's Office says a husband and wife were aboard the twin-engine aircraft that went down Friday evening in Ephratah, along with the plane's pilot. He said Sunday that the bodies of the female passenger and the pilot have been found, but they are still scouring the area for the male passenger.
Police had previously said the flight's two passengers had been found dead Friday.
Authorities are not identifying the pilot or the passengers.
A volunteer pilot says the two passengers were a cancer patient and his wife.
