Memorial Scheduled This Morning For Larry & Jane Glazer

A memorial service will be held Tuesday morning for Larry and Jane Glazer. The Rochester developer and his entrepreneur wife died September 5 when their small plane crashed off the coast of Jamaica.

The plane wreckage has not been recovered yet. 

The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Temple B’rith Kodesh in Brighton.

The speakers at the service include two of the Glazer’s children and Jane’s brother.

The family has reception hours at the Irondequoit Country Club, Tuesday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm, and also on Wednesday from Noon to 3pm and 7 to 9pm.

Larry Glazer was involved in numerous downtown projects including the redevelopment of the former Midtown Plaza site, Alexander Park and many other buildings.

Jane Glazer founded the catalog company QCI Direct. Both of the Glazers were also involved in many philanthropic activities in the Rochester area.
