Medal of Freedom Petition for Webster Firefighters

An online petition is requesting that the Obama Administration award the Medal of Freedom to the four West Webster firefighters shot in an ambush on Christmas Eve while responding to a house fire on Lake Road.  The petition asks the White House to award the Medal to firefighters Michael Chiapperini and Tomasz Kaczowka, who were killed in the attack, and Joseph Hofstetter and Theodore Scarpino, who were injured.  25,000 signatures are needed on the petition by January 27 for the White House to consider the request.
