The New York State Department of Transportation announced that the bridge carrying Marsh Road over the Erie Canal in Perinton has reopened with a weight maximum of 7 tons.
The bridge has been closed for repairs since September 23.
DOT crews finished their repairs early.
Marsh Road is located between Route 31 and Route 96 in Bushnell’s Basin.
The structure is a single lane truss bridge built in 1912.
