Mandating "Dignified" Burials for Monroe County's Poor and Homeless

The Monroe County Democratic Caucus is proposing what it calls a "dignified Indigent Burial Policy."

The County Legislature's Republican Majority rejected the proposals, refusing to assign them to a committee for consideration.
