82-year old Antoinette Falvo of Irondequoit won 100-thousand dollars on her birthday last year playing the New York Lottery at a machine at the Culver-Ridge Wegmans.
Then she bought at ticket the day after Thanksgiving at the same machine, and was a 3-million dollar winner.
Susanne DiCesare of Brighton, says her mother is very lucky in general, and the big winning ticket was bought around the time of her late father's birthday.
She says she and her family believe their father had a hand in leading their mother to the winning ticket.
DiCesare says she and her four siblings will split the winnings with their mother, putting the money into a family trust for the care of their mom.
Their net winnings are $258,102 each.
